We would like to wish everyone a very happy and fulfilling 2013.
2012 was our first year managing a blog – an enterprise we started on a whim during one afternoon last January. With a simple goal, learning 31 new recipes, we could not have made it without the encouraging words and intriguing recipes of our family and from readers and commenters who identified with our failures, rejoiced with us in our successes, played along in our recipe games and stuck with us through many theme changes and dishes with no vegetables (:)). With the wealth of food blogs out there and the preciousness of time, we are delighted that you would spend even a moment with us. Thank You!
We leave you with a few stats that WordPress.com compiled in the form of a 2012 annual report. It contains some interesting trends that we hope to address as 2013 progresses. Enjoy!
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,500 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 4 years to get that many views.
P.S. The final 4 recipes done in 2012 (Recipes 28 through 31) will be posted within the next few days.
