At sistersizzle, we try a new recipe almost every week. This time, we agreed to “invent our own”. Introducing Banana Carrot Ginger Chocolate Bread. In retrospect, this recipe is by no means adventurous, but to someone who had never combined these ingredients, it was quite exciting. I modified Chef John’s Banana Bread recipe to include
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- just a touch of ginger (about 1 1/4 tsp)
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (a bit less than Chef John calls for)
It is delicious and, unlike my new york cheesecake, is half gone after just two days. Enjoy!
